A phone case is a constant accessory, especially if you are like me and constantly whip out your phone to snap a photo. This collaboration came at the perfect time, because my trusty floral phone case was on its last leg after almost two years together.
As much as I needed a new phone case, I resisted getting one, because I couldn't find one that I absolutely loved. When CaseApp approached me to collaborate in designing a couple custom phone cases, I was really excited to replace my falling apart, but also to have a case that no one else had.
There are two ways to design a case on the CaseApp site. You can upload custom art work or a photo or use their preset graphics and fonts to create your case. I made one of my cases each way.
Since I am absolutely not an artist, (if you see me write, it looks maybe like a 4th grader who is having a really tough time passing their handwriting worksheets) my mega talented graphic design superstar bff, Catie, helped me designed a print that I easily uploaded to create the evil eye case design. For the the second case, I loved the already created star print and then manipulated the color of the font to match the stars on the CaseApp website. I also chose the extra tough case option and as someone that drops their phone at least twice a day this option was absolutely necessary.
