My name is Sophia and I am passionate about finding time to break a sweat, coffee, cooking and most importantly figuring out how I can put my marketing skills and experience to work for you!  

I entered college as a Biochemistry Major with the goal of helping people in the medical field. While the direction of my career did a 180 halfway through sophomore year, my goal of helping people has never wavered. As a marketer, I view it as my job to open doors for others' brands and ideas by joining content creation and writing skills with my love of looking at numbers to figure out how to make a brand or idea a success story. 

With a unique viewpoint, determination, and varied marketing background, I am capable of enabling your brand or idea with tools to reach its potential.

Associate Creative Strategist

Write copy for various client social media accounts, take on the creative role of writing taglines and a manifesto for a P&G's client's new product launch, and ghost write copy for celebrities social posts like  Laverne Cox, Danielle Brooks, and Sarah Hyland.

Creative Coordinator

As a creative coordinator, I've worked on a team to launch influencer campaigns for Betsey Johnson, The Museum of Pizza, Zenni Optical, Saucony, GANT Clothing. In addition to this, I've continued to help create on-brand content for the Small Girls PR Instagram.

My passion for marketing was realized through my personal Instagram account. 

What began as a hobby, quickly became a 'favorite creative outlet and experimental playground for all things social. My audience is currently at 32,000 followers and this platform has allowed me to collaborate with brands like Nespresso, Lou and Grey, Healthade Kombucha and my work has been featured on accounts like Free People and Vans. This experience has given me insight on how different brands reach out to influencers and some of the best practices for running an influencer driven social strategy.

Digital Creative Graduate Fellow

In this post graduate fellowship, I've worked on a team to own influencer research and outreach for Saucony, Rosé Mansion, Gant, and 3Doodler. In this role, I also created, set the strategy, and source photos for an Instagram account for the City of Tulsa. Finally, I work on creating on-brand content for the Small Girls PR Instagram account. 

Digital Marketing, Sales, and Events Fellow

Since December 2017, I have worked with FindSpark remotely. This role has allowed me to expand my marketing wheelhouse into areas like producing email campaigns, writing long form blog posts, pitching events to customers and designing webpages. 

Stillwater, Oklahoma

I interned for three semesters in the Communications office at my University. 

As a social media intern, I set the voice and direction for the University's Instagram account to an audience of 37,000 followers. Additionally, I helped community manage, scheduled content with Sprout Social, practiced social listening for issues and trends around campus, assisted in writing and sending out a biweekly email with MailChimp to the student population, and occasionally wiped out the office fridge! 

Los Angeles, California

Genius Brands International is s a publicly traded global children’s media company that creates and licenses animated multimedia entertainment content.

As a social media marketing intern,  I created social media content for six animated brands and took product shots of toys that accompanied these brands. In addition to content creation, scheduling content with Hootsuite, social listening and community management, and researching and analyzing social  trends to present in marketing meetings were all part of this experience.   

Tulsa, Oklahoma

LivyLu Clothing Company is a regional wholesale company that specializes in college game day and state pride apparel.

Since March 2016, as social media manager, I  tripled the following on Facebook and Instagram and doubled engagement per post. In addition to working with photographers to create content, I created a brand voice by writing all the copy and contacted and negotiated deals with bloggers and influencers.
